Your ultimate resource for Culturally Responsive Evaluation...

Honoring our Co-founder, Stafford L. Hood, Ph.D.

(February 12, 1952 - Januray 15, 2023)

At EvalCRE, we continue to reflect on Dr. Stafford Hood's immense contributions to the field of Culturally Responsive Evaluation. Dr. Hood was not only a visionary leader at EvalCRE, but also the Co- founder of the Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation (CREA), the Sheila M. Miller Professor of Education/Curriculum & Instruction Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and the person who coined the term "Culturally Responsive Evaluation."

Dr. Hood’s mission and vision live on through our work, especially in advancing the ACESAS model he co-created. His passion social justice, and transformative evaluation remains at the heart of everything we do at EvalCRE.

As we continue this important work in his honor, I invite you to stay connected with us and share in the ongoing journey that serves as a tribute to the lasting impact of our beloved Co-founder, Dr. Stafford Hood.
